| | | Overview of Business: | Daisy Kingdom is a national retailer of fabrics, dresses and doll clothing. | | Challenge: | Daisy Kingdom had an HTML web site that was e-commerce enabled through a proprietary software package. They wanted to expand the capabilities of their site to allow on-line customization, real-time updating of product data and allow purchasing from multiple vendors and payment systems. | | Solution: | We used our proprietary e-commerce solution, SP-Merchant, to turn their site into a fully functioning e-commerce site. Users can view images of products, place items in their “shopping carts”, check out items and pay for them online. We also provided a complete set of administrative tools that allowed Daisy Kingdom to update pricing, inventory levels and reorder points, product descriptions, shipping information and tax tables. Additional features included automated email responses and a sales tracking person or product. They also have the ability to add custom banners and navigation categories to their home page. |
